Mapletree Clinches Three Awards At CNBC Asia Pacific Property Awards

VivoCity wins Best Retail Development Award in Asia Pacific

Singapore – Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd (“Mapletree”) has clinched three awards at the CNBC Asia Pacific Property Awards 2009. Its retail development, VivoCity, Singapore’s largest lifestyle and entertainment destination, received the highest five-star award for Best Retail Development and was named the Regional Winner in that category. Its other developments, Mapletree Business City, an integrated business hub currently under development, was awarded four stars in the Best Redevelopment category, while its recently completed office building in the HarbourFront Precinct, Merrill Lynch HarbourFront, was awarded four stars in The Best Architecture Design Award.

VivoCity, as the only five-star award winner for the Best Retail Development for Asia Pacific, will compete with the other five-star award winners from the Americas, Europe & Africa, Arabia and UK for the prestigious Best International Property award for this category. The results will be announced in November 2009 at the CNBC International Property Awards Gala Presentation in San Diego.
